Here we review the rapidly expanding ecosystem of decentralised protocols that we can build with. We can use these protocols to create architectures that are p2p or federated, but that do not rely on conventional centralised servers.
Importantly we can develop software that while using, more conventional client server infrastructure (such as microservices), enable us to leverage a so called serverless architecture by proxying our service calls through federated servers that provide micorservices locally to us, while communicating with each other using serverless (decentralised) protocoals.
